NIKON Z 6II, Z 7II up for Pre-order on Amazon US

Nikon has launched two new Mirrorless cameras – NIKON Z 6II & NIKON Z 7II. These are second-gen models with improved specs and features.

In the US, the NIKON Z 6II has a price tag of $1,999.95 ( Body only ) – $2,599.95 ( with Z 24-70mm F4 kit lens ). NIKON Z 7II can be bought for $2,999.95 ( body only ) – $3,599.95 ( with Z 24-70mm F4 ). Both these cameras are now available to pre-order online in the US from Amazon ( check here ).

Nikon has also launched the MB-N11 battery pack at a price of $399.95.

In India, the NIKON Z 6II has an MRP price of Rs 1,64,995 ( body only ) – Rs 2,09,995 ( with 24-70mm lens ) and will be available to purchase from 5th November 2020 onwards. NIKON Z 7II has an MRP price of Rs 2,49,995 ( body only ) – Rs 2,94,995 ( with 24-70mm lens ) and will be available to purchase from 10th December 2020 onwards.

Specs and Features – What’s new?

• Nikon has equipped these 2nd Gen models with Dual EXPEED 6 Processors for more power and faster performance. This guarantees better processing speed, faster burst rate and better power efficiency.
• These new models come with Dual Memory Card Slots ( one CFexpress (type B)/XQD slot and one SD card slot (UHS-II) ).
• Faster burst shots with improved buffer capacity – up to 10fps on the Z 7II and up to 14fps on the Z 6II
• New MB-N11 battery pack with vertical grip for all day long shooting
• Better Auto-focus system – Eye and Face-Detection AF is now available in the Wide-Area AF (L) mode, Nikon has also improved low-light AF detection range on these new bodies.
• 4K Ultra-HD video recording @ 60fps support ( Z 6II will get this feature via a firmware update in Feb 2021 only. Z 7II has this out of the box )
