Amazon India has started teasing the launch of the Amazfit Bip U Pro Smartwatch online. This is an improved version of the earlier launched Bip U Model. This Pro variant will be available to purchase / pre-order in the coming weeks from Amazon.in. Check out the promo page here to know about the launch price and first sale date.
April 7 2021 update: AmazonIN has announced the launch price of Amazfit Bip U Pro in India – Rs 4,999.
The Pro model has similar specs as the non-pro model. The Bip U Pro model comes with built-in GPS while the older Bip U model ( Rs 3,999 ) uses connected mobile GPS instead.
It features a 1.43 inch TFT Color touchscreen with a resolution of 320×302 pixels. It uses 2.5D glass and has an anti-fingerprint coating for a better visual experience. This smartwatch is compatible with both Android and Apple iPhones.
Amazfit has powered this watch with a 230mAh battery. According to the official specs sheet, you can get up to 9 days on a full charge. The battery backup will vary depending on the features you have switched on. This is not an Android Wear OS smartwatch, instead uses RTOS.
To control the smartwatch from your smartphone, you can download the Zepp app ( formally known as Amazfit app ) from the app store. For connectivity, Bip U Pro has Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy. This smartwatch has a waterproof rating of 5ATM, so you don’t have to worry about using it in the rain or when swimming.
