Lenovo Legion 7 16IAX7 82TD001XIN, 82TD002GIN, 82TD005DIN Launching soon in India

Lenovo has announced 2022 Legion 7 16IAX7 laptop models for the Indian market. These new models are equipped with Alder Lake 12th Gen Intel Core i7 / Core i9 processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti / RTX 3080 Ti Graphics GPU. Currently, these models are not listed in stock online on Flipkart or Amazon.in. The expected launch date is September 2022. Official MRP Price and Launch prices are not announced yet as well.

As of this writing ( July 16, 2022 ), there are 3 Legion 7 16IAX7 India models announced – 82TD001XIN, 82TD002GIN, and 82TD005DIN. All these 3 are powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900HX 16-core processor which has 8 Performance-cores and 8 Efficient-cores offering a total of 24 threads. For graphics, all these models come with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 16GB GDDR6 graphics with a max graphics TGP of TGP 175W supported.

The cheaper models in the 2022 Lenovo Legion 7 16IAX7 Gaming Laptop Series are equipped with 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12800HX 16-core processor and Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti Graphics with a max TGP of 150W supported.

Lenovo Legion 7 16IAX7 82TD001XIN, 82TD002GIN, and 82TD005DIN laptops feature a 16-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) resolution IPS screen with a max refresh rate of 165hz supported. Dell India has launched 2022 Gaming G15 5525 AMD Edition Laptops powered by 6th Gen AMD Ryzen 6000H Series processor and Nvidia RTX 30 Series GPU online. There are a few different models listed online with prices starting at ₹83990.

Lenovo has announced the Legion 7 16ARHA7 82UH000RIN laptop model powered by AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX CPU coupled with AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT Graphics GPU for the Indian market. As of this writing, there is no official India launch date announced or MRP price info available.

Lenovo Legion 7 16ARHA7 82UH000RIN features a 16-inch, WQXGA (2560×1600) resolution IPS screen with a max refresh rate of 165hz supported. This panel can output 100% sRGB color gamut and can go up to 500nits brightness.

Amazon India has a promo page up online teasing the launch of LG Gram 2022 Laptops powered by Alder Lake 12th Gen Intel processors. LG Gram laptops are available in 4 different screen sizes – 14-inch ( 14Z90Q ) , 15-inch ( 15Z90Q ), 16-inch ( 16Z90Q ), and 17-inch ( 17Z90Q ). The expected India launch date is July 23 ( Prime Day 2022 Sale ).

Update: Amazon.in has now listed three LG Gram 2022 models online – LG Gram 16 , LG Gram 14, and LG Gram 17 with 12th Gen Intel processors. The current listed price for the 14-inch model is Rs 96,490. The 16-inch model price starts at Rs 1,01,999. Top-end models in the LG Gram 2022 Series are powered by Alder Lake Intel 12th Generation Core i7-1260P 12-core processor which has 4 Performance cores and 8 Efficient cores. Cheaper models come with 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1240P 12-core processor.

Some of these models have touch screen support. It comes with either a 2K WQXGA 2560*1600 resolution screen or a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) display. Both of these screens support DCI-P3 99% color gamut for good color output. All models currently listed online use integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics GPU.

The display on this model is a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920×1080) screen with a TN panel supporting a max brightness of 250nits. Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 2022 Models launched in India

Microsoft has launched 2022 Surface Laptop Go 2 laptop models in India. These are powered by Tiger Lake 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 quad-core processor. There are currently 2 models listed online on Amazon.in – 8QC-00021 and 8QF-00046.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 Price in India starts from ₹73,999. ( July 2022 launch price ). Check out the current lowest price on Amazon.in here. The 8QC-00021 model which has 8GB Ram and 128GB storage costs ₹73,999 while the 256GB storage model has an MRP launch price of ₹80,999. There is also a 4GB ram model available in this series, which is currently not listed online.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 features a 12.4” PixelSense Display with 10-point multi-touch support. It has a 3:2 aspect ratio screen with a native pixel resolution of 1536 × 1024 (148 PPI). For graphics, it uses integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics GPU. There is no dedicated discrete graphics available on this model.

Are Microsoft Laptop Go 2 laptops worth buying? It depends on your usage. One can argue a Macbook Air with an M1 chip at similar prices offers far better performance than the Microsoft Laptop Go 2. However, the latter comes with a touch screen which is missing on Apple Macbook laptops.
