Asus 2021 ROG Strix 15 G15 G513 India Models | Price, Specs

Asus has launched a lot of new 2021 laptops online in India powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 Series chipset and Nvidia RTX 30 Series GPUs. Many of these models, espcially ROG Strix Scar 15 / 17 2021 models came and went out of stock in a few hours time. Many of these are yet to come back in stock on Amazon India. I have also noticed a few sellers online are selling these new 2021 laptops for higher prices than their launch prices due to the high demand.

Asus has now updated 2021 ROG Strix 15 models list ( G15 G513 ). Check out their specs and features below.

Not all Asus 2021 ROG Strix 15 G15 G513 models use the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 Series processor. Some of these ship with last gen Ryzen 4000 Series Ryzen 7 4800H chipset.

In the graphics aka GPU department, Asus has equipped these models with RTX 3060 or RTX 3070 GPUs. We might see just announced RTX 3050 Series powered Asus models as well later this year.

You can buy these with 3 different display configurations. The Full HD models come with 300hz or 144hz refresh rate panels while the WQHD models have a 165hz display. WQHD models support 100 DCI-P3 color gamut while 300hz models support 100% sRGB.

All of these models currently listed come with 16GB of ram and 1TB SSD storage. 32GB is the maximum ram supported ( using 2x SO-DIMM slots ). You get either a Backlit Per-Key RGB with Num-pad Keyboard or a Backlit 4-Zone RGB Keyboard. Asus has powered these 2021 models with a 4-cell 90Whr battery.

Launch Price and MRP Price: Asus doesn’t have an online store in India. So we often do not get to know the ‘launch price’ of these laptops. All we have is MRP Price. So, whoever is selling it online, they put whatever price they feel like on these models. Recently, i saw the Asus TUF Dash F15 2021 model selling for Rs 1,59,990 – which is Rs 30,000 more than the lowest price it was available for on Amazon.in a few weeks ago.

According to the official Asus document, the starting MRP price of this series is Rs 187,990 in India. ( Tip: you should never buy anything online for MRP price in India )
