Panasonic has launched a new type of Camera – LUMIX BGH1. This is a box type which Panasonic says is perfect for livestreams, broadcasts, and cinema. It has a Micro four third sensor like the GH5 and supports multi-camera control.
Panasonic LUMIX BGH1 is now available to pre-order online in the US from Amazon. It has a price tag of $1,997.99. It will ship to customers on November 20, 2020.
LUMIX BGH1 features a 10.2MP Live MOS Micro Four Thirds sensor with Dual Native ISO support. You can record up to 4K @ 60fps. It supports 4:2:0 10-bit as well as 4:2:2 10-bit 400Mbps internally.
This camera ships with V-Log L which offers up to 13 stops of dynamic range. Panasonic is also promising future firmware update with RAW output via HDMI.
This is not a Photo camera and there is no LCD screen. You have to use it tethered with your Laptop or PC via USB Type C or Ethernet using LUMIX Tether App.
