OnePlus 8T 5G will go on sale in India online on Oct 16th as part of the Great Indian Festival 2020 Sale. Official Specs, MRP price, etc will be revealed during the Oct 14th launch event. An early access sale will be held for Amazon Prime Members. Regular customers will have to wait another day – probably Oct 17 – to get access. Amazon.in is also teasing a new OnePlus Nord model which will be available on the same date as well.
OnePlus 8T 5G is the latest flagship Android smartphone from the OnePlus Mobiles. It is powered by the latest and fastest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ Octa-core processor and comes with a 120Hz Quad HD AMOLED screen. It ships with Oxygen OS 11 based on the latest Android 11. Like previous OnePlus flagships, this too features super-fast Warp Charging. This time around OnePlus is bringing a 65W charger which can juice up 8T 5G from 1% to 58% in just 15mins.
There are 4 cameras at the back of the OnePlus 8T 5G. Many of us were expecting a 64MP Sony sensor, but instead, OnePlus is sticking with a 48MP shooter for the main camera. You also get a 14mm ultra-wide-angle lens next to it as well as a telephoto lens. There is also a 4th sensor which would probably be a depth sensor used to help with portrait/bokeh shots.
