OnePlus, Xiaomi and Oppo are all gearing up to launch new Android smartphones in India during March 2021 via Amazon.in.
OnePlus has been teasing the launch of their next flagship Android smartphone – OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro with the tagline “Something new is on the Horizon”. This can be an indication the upcoming smartphone will feature a 50x like digital zoom functionality that could capture distant objects, for eg the Moon. A few leaks have revealed an OnePlus smartphone with a Hasselblad branded camera system on the back. According to the Promo images on Amazon.in, the OnePlus 9 Pro will be launching in India on March 8th. The first sale date will be announced during the launch event. (check here for more info).
Xiaomi on the other hand has launched Redmi Note 10 Series in India. There are 3 phones in this series. The high-end in this lineup, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max will be available to purchase in India from 18th March onwards via Amazon.in ( Price: Rs 18,999 – Rs 21,999 ). This model features a 120hz SAMOLED display and has a 108MP main camera. The regular Note 10 Pro model also has a 120Hz refresh rate display but comes with a 64MP main camera ( Price: Rs 15,999 – Rs 18,999 ). The cheapest in the lineup, Redmi Note 10 features a regular SAMOLED screen with 60hz refresh rate support ( Price: Rs 11,999 – Rs 13,999 ).
Another new Android smartphone launching during the month of March is the Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G and F19 Pro models. The launch event is scheduled for March 8th and will be available to purchase / pre-order soon afterward. Oppo is also launching a fitness band on the same date – Oppo Band Style.
Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 9 Power Android smartphone in India online on Amazon. It has a launch price of Rs 10,999 and will go on sale for the first time on Dec 22 at 12 noon. You can buy Redmi 9 Power in 4 different colors – Mighty Black, Blazing Blue, Fiery Red, and Electric Green
The base model of Redmi 9 Power comes with 4GB of ram and 64GB storage. You can also get a 4GB ram + 128GB storage variant for Rs 11,999.
Xiaomi Redmi 9 Power is a budget smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 octa-core processor. It features a 6.53 inch Full HD+ IPS screen and has Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Xiaomi has equipped this smartphone with a big 6000mAh battery and supports 18W Fast charging.
In the camera department, Redmi 9 Power has a quad-camera setup at the back like many other Android smartphone launched in 2020. The main camera is a 48MP sensor. You also get an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and two 2MP sensors – one for macro and the other for recording depth. On the front, this phone has an 8MP sensor with AI Face Unlock support.
Xiaomi has officially launched Redmi Note 9 in India. It will go on sale from July 24th onwards on Amazon.in. The base model has a price tag of Rs 11,999 ( 4GB Ram + 64GB storage ). It is also available with 4GB ram + 128GB ( Rs 13,499 ) and 6GB ram + 128GB ( Rs 14,999 ).
Redmi Note 9 is powered by Mediatek Helio G85 octa-core processor. Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max models on the other hand have Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset instead. The display is a 6.53 inch Full HD+ IPS screen with a punch-hole style selfie camera on the top left corner.
Like many other phones in the price range, Note 9 also features a Quad-camera rear camera system. The main sensor is a 48MP shooter. There is a 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens next to it. In addition to these, there are two 2MP sensors as well – one used for depth capture and the other to take macro shots. On the front, you get a 13MP selfie camera.
Xiaomi has equipped this model with a big 5020mAh battery – same as the Pro variants. It will ship with a 22.5W fast charger in the box. The phone also supports reverse charging ( 9W ).
