Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen 2 21FA0000IG Launching Soon in India ( 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-13700HX / NVIDIA® RTX A1000 6GB GDDR6 )

Lenovo has announced the ThinkPad P16 Gen 2 21FA0000IG, a powerful laptop designed for professionals who need the best performance possible. The ThinkPad P16 Gen 2 is powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700HX processor and NVIDIA® RTX A1000 graphics, making it ideal for demanding tasks such as video editing, 3D rendering, and CAD design.

The ThinkPad P16 Gen 2 also features a 16-inch WUXGA display with a max brightness of 300 nits, an anti-glare coating, and 100% sRGB color gamut coverage.

It comes with 32GB of ram memory ( 1x 32GB SO-DIMM DDR5-5600 Non-ECC ) and has 4x DDR5 SO-DIMM slots supporting a maximum of upto 192GB ram memory ( 4x 48GB DDR5 SO-DIMM ). In the storage department, it comes with 1TB SSD storage ( M.2 2280 PCIe® 4.0×4 NVMe® Opal 2.0 ). It supports up to two drives ( 2x M.2 SSD, M.2 2280 SSD up to 8TB, 4TB each, RAID 0/1 support ).

This model is powered by an Integrated 94Wh battery and comes with a 170W Slim Tip (3-pin) power adapter. It ships with Windows 11 Pro operating system.

Lenovo Thinkpad P15v Gen 3 (Intel) 21D8S00V00 Laptop Launched in India ( 12th Gen Intel Core I7-12800H / NVIDIA Quadro T1200 )

Lenovo has launched the 2022 Thinkpad P15v Gen 3 (Intel) 21D8S00V00 Workstation Laptop model powered by Alder Lake 12th Gen Intel processor and Nvidia Quadro Professional Laptop graphics in India. Lenovo Thinkpad P15v Gen 3 (Intel) 21D8S00V00 is a professional workstation laptop series powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12800H 14-core processor which has 6 Performance-cores and 8 Efficient-cores. The base frequency of the P-core on this is 2.4Ghz. The max turbo boost clock supported is 4.8GHz. For graphics, it is equipped with NVIDIA T1200 Laptop GPU which is a professional variant of the Nvidia GTX 1650 Graphics. The max graphics TGP of the Nvidia T1200 on this laptop is 35W.

Lenovo has also announced a few other models in the Thinkpad P15v Gen 3 (Intel) Workstation Series. The cheaper models are powered by Core i5-12500H. More expensive models have Core i9-12900H processor and NVIDIA RTX A2000 Laptop GPU. There is also a Core i7-12700H model listed by Lenovo online. As of this writing, 21D8S00V00 is the only model part of this series listed on Amazon.in. You can find older gen Lenovo Thinkpad P15v models with 11th Gen Intel processors online.

Thinkpad P15v Gen 3 (Intel) 21D8S00V00 comes with 32GB of ram and 1TB SSD storage. It has 2x SO-DIMM slots and uses DDR5 4800 MHz ram. The max ram memory supported is 64GB. This model support up to two drives, 2x M.2 SSD ( Two M.2 2280 PCIe® 4.0 x4 slots ).

It features a 15.6 inch Full HD IPS screen with a max brightness of 300nits supported. Lenovo has equipped this model with an integrated Li-Polymer 68Wh battery, and supports Rapid Charge (charge up to 80% in 1hr). It ships with ‎Windows 11 Pro operating system.

There are plenty of ports available on this laptop – 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ( one Always On), 1x Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 40Gbps (support data transfer, Power Delivery 3.0, and DisplayPort 1.4) / 1x HDMI, 1x SD card reader, 1x Ethernet (RJ-45), and 1x Headphone/microphone combo jack (3.5mm).

Some of the models in this series are equipped with Intel Wi-Fi® 6E AX211, 802.11ax 2×2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5.1 while some other have Qualcomm® NFA-725A Wi-Fi 6E, 802.11ax 2×2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5.1. The specs currently listed online doesn’t mention which WiFi 21D8S00V00 laptop comes with.
