OnePlus has launched the Nord 3 5G Android Smartphone in India, starting at ₹33,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone is also available in a 16GB RAM + 256GB storage variant for ₹37,999.

The OnePlus Nord 3 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset and runs OxygenOS based on Android 13.1. It has a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels.

The phone has a triple-camera system on the back, consisting of a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera with a Sony IMX355 sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera.

OnePlus 11R 5G launching in India on Feb 7th [ Amazon.in ]

There were rumors OnePlus will be launching just a single smartphone in the upcoming 2023 OnePlus 11 Series. That’s now proven wrong thanks to the launch announcement of the OnePlus 11R 5G smartphone. Amazon India ( Amazon.in ) has a teaser page up with minimal info displayed. It will launch in India on the same date as the OnePlus 11 – Feb 7th, 2023 at 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time.

While the OnePlus 11 5G is expected to come with flagship specs and new features, OnePlus 11R 5G would be a less powerful variant. Looking at the specs of the current OnePlus 10 Series line-up, we expect the OnePlus 11R to be powered by a Mediatek chipset instead of the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which the OnePlus 11 is confirmed to be equipped with.

Expect the 11R to feature a lower-resolution screen, cameras with less Megapixels and features etc. The 8K recording and Wireless charging won’t be available either. Chances are both will feature the same capacity battery though.

Even though this model is launching in India in 2023, it was announced back in 2022. So basically, this is Galaxy A23 2022 model.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series

Samsung no longer makes Galaxy Note series smartphones, instead, they now bring the features we loved on the Note series to their flagship S Series smartphones. The Galaxy S23 is expected to launch in Feb 2023 during the Galaxy Unpacked event. S23 series is expected to feature a 200MP main camera, of course, made by Samsung. If Samsung get’s everything right, this should blow other camera smartphones out of the water with ease.

Samsung is expected to launch 3 variants with the S23 Series – Galaxy S23 ( cheapest model ), S23 Plus ( flagship model ), and an S23 Ultra with all flagship features crammed in. We might also see an S23 FE ( Fan Editon ) down the road.

Google Pixel 8 Series

Last month ( Oct 2022 ), Google launched their Pixel 7 Series in many markets including India. These were well-received thanks to their incredible cameras and overall vanilla stock Android performance. In the interwebs, there are already talks about what to expect in the next-gen Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro models. We can expect a new Google Tensor G3 chip, with new and improved rear cameras as well as plenty of new software magic which often are exclusive to the series.

Before the Pixel 8 Series, Google will be launched the Pixel 7A model with the Tensor G2 chip. It is expected to carry the same main camera as the Pixel 7 Flagship models. If the price is right, this smartphone is going to sell well worldwide.

OnePlus 11 Series

OnePlus is no longer run by OnePlus. It is now merged with Oppo Mobiles and now offers Color OS on their Android smartphones instead of the popular Oxygen OS. Oppo is a big player in the mobile industry and often comes up with features very early than their competitors. For eg, they were one of the first to launch Android smartphones with an HD screen and a Full HD screen. They also love to experiment with out-of-the-world features like the rotating camera we saw on the old Oppo N1. Even though the first Samsung Galaxy Fold was notorious for its very fragile built quality, Samsung learned from its mistakes and now sells very good quality foldable smartphones. While its competitors like Xiaomi have started building foldable mobiles, Samsung continues to be the king in this series of smartphones.

In the second half of 2023, we can expect Samsung to launch Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 smartphones with the latest Qualcomm processor and top-end features.

Xiaomi 13 Series

In the early days, Xiaomi used to launch affordable, best-value-for-money Android smartphones worldwide. They continue to produce such smartphones and being sold well in markets like India. They now also launch some high-quality smartphones with cutting-edge features.

OnePlus 10T 5G features a 6.7 inch 120hz Fluid AMOLED Display with a native resolution of 2412 X 1080 pixels. OnePlus has equipped this model with a 4800 mAh battery and supports a ridiculous 150W SuperVOOC fast charging which is almost double what the Pro variant supports. Not only does this have super fast charging support, OnePlus also ships this fast charging adapter in the box, which should be appreciated as more and more OEMs are opting to ship their smartphones without charging adapters.

In the camera department, OnePlus is using a 3 camera system at the rear. The main camera is a Sony IMX766 50MP sensor with OIS support. You also get a regular ultra-wide-angle 8MP camera along with a 2MP macro camera. The OnePlus 10 Pro on the other hand came with a Hasselbald tuned Sony IMX 789 main camera and had a dedicated 8MP Telephoto lens.

OnePlus 10 T 5G ships with Oxygen OS based on the Android 12 operating system. While we all loved the close-to-stock Android flavors older flagship OnePlus smartphones came with, that’s no longer to be seen as newer models use Oppo’s Color OS style UI.
