Xiaomi Pad 7 India Launch Date Revealed by Amazon

The Xiaomi Pad 7 is set to launch in India on January 10, 2025, as revealed by a “coming soon” promotional listing on Amazon.in. The tablet initially debuted in China in October 2024.

This mid-range Android tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. The base model features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while a higher-end variant offers 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 is equipped with an 8,850 mAh battery and supports 45W wired charging via a USB Type-C 3.2 port.

It runs on HyperOS 2, an operating system based on Android 15. It features an 11.2-inch IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support, and a peak brightness of 800 nits. It does support Sylus input.

In the camera department, the Xiaomi Pad 7 features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

At the time of writing, neither Amazon.in nor Xiaomi has announced the launch price of the Xiaomi Pad 7 yet.

The older generation, Xiaomi Pad 6, is priced at ₹23,999 in India on Amazon.in at the time of writing. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and features an 11-inch 2.8K+ display. The tablet currently holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5, with over 585 reviews on Amazon. ( Check here )

There are two models available in the 2022 Xiaomi Notebook Pro Series. The regular model is powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12450H and uses integrated Intel UHD Graphics while Xiaomi Notebook Pro 120G variant comes with a dedicated 2GB Nvidia GeForce MX550 graphics GPU.

Xiaomi Notebook Pro 120G features a 14-inch 2.5K resolution screen with 120 / 90 / 60 Hz adjustable refresh rate supported. It has a 16:10 Aspect Ratio screen with a 100% sRGB Wide Colour Gamut. The native display resolution is 2560 x 1600 pixels.

It comes with 16GB of ram and 512GB of SSD storage. It uses LPDDR5 5200MHz Dual Channel and has PCIe Gen 4.0 offering a better data read-write performance. Xiaomi NoteBook Pro 120G Launching on Amazon India on Aug 30th

Xiaomi and Amazon India ( Amazon.in ) have started teasing the launch of the new 2022 Xiaomi NoteBook Pro 120G laptop. It will officially launch in India on Aug 30th, 2022 at 12 noon. Amazon.in has put up a promo page, revealing some of the key specs and features. It will be soon available for purchase / pre-order after the launch.

Update: Xiaomi NoteBook Pro 120G first sale on Sept 20th. The price starts at ₹69,999.

Xiaomi NoteBook Pro 120G 2022 is a mid-range, general-purpose laptop powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i5 H-Series processor. We currently don’t know which H-Series processor it uses. It could either be 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12500H 12-core processor or Core i5-12450H octa-core processor.

Xiaomi NoteBook Pro 120G 2022 is not made for gaming even though it comes with a dedicated Nvidia graphics card. It is equipped with Nvidia GeForce MX550 Graphics which has 2GB of memory. This GPU is not as powered as the Nvidia GeForce RTX series graphics such as RTX 3050, RTX 3060 etc. So, even though you can play games on it, it can’t be considered as a gaming laptop.

Xiaomi NoteBook Pro 120G 2022 features a 2.5K resolution True-life Display with 120hz Super-Smooth screen. It uses the new LPDDR5 onboard ram memory and PCIe Gen4 SSD storage offering good performance. Xiaomi would probably offers 8GB ram and 16GB ram options with up to 512GB SSD storage.

Xiaomi has equipped this model with 2x USB Type-C ports, an HDMI port and a 3.5mm combo jack. It charges using the Thunderbolt USB Type-C port.

Xiaomi Pad 5 First Sale on May 3rd [ Amazon India ]

Good Android Tablets are quite rare and are hard to find in Indian online markets. Apart from the Samsung Galaxy Tab series and the Apple iPad series, you don’t have many good tablet options available to consider purchasing. Google itself doesn’t care much about Android tablets and hasn’t released any new official Google Pixel tablets in a while. This might change though in the future thanks to the Android 12L Tablet version development.

If you have been looking for an alternative option to the Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tablet, you would be happy to know that the Xiaomi Pad 5 will be launching in India on April 27th. Xiaomi Pad 5 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset and features an 11-inch WQHD+ resolution screen. It supports a max refresh rate of 120hz and a peak brightness of 500nits. This panel offers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut for a good visual experience.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 is an octa-core processor which has 1x Cortex-A76 core, 3x Cortex-A76 cores, and 4x Cortex-A55 cores. For graphics, it has Adreno 640 GPU. This process offers similar performance to Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset which we saw on many flagship phones like OnePlus 8T, Xiaomi Mi 10T, Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition, etc. It is not the latest flagship Snapdragon chipset but is a very capable processor to have in an Android device.

Xiaomi Pad 5 can be bought in two storage configurations. The base model has 6GB Ram and 128GB storage. You can get this with 6GB Ram and 256GB Storage. It uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Xiaomi has equipped this tablet with an 8720mAh battery and uses a USB Type-C port to juice it up. Like every other Xiaomi Android device, it runs on a modified MIUI-based Android operating system. We currently don’t have any info on the exact Android version this model will ship with in India.

Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with a Xiaomi Smart Pen. This supports Magnetic Wireless Charging and can be fully charged in 18 mins. A 60s charge will let you use it for up to 20 mins. This smartpen supports 4096-level pressure sensitivity offering precise, smooth pen strokes.

There are two cameras on the Xiaomi Pad 5. You get a 13MP rear shooter as well as an 8MP front camera. The rear can shoot up to 4K @ 30fps videos while the front camera tops up at Full HD 1080P @ 30fps. It has 4 speakers and supports Dolby Atmos audio.

You can buy Xiaomi Pad 5 in two color options – Pearl White and Cosmic Gray. Currently, we don’t if Xiaomi will be launching both of these colors in India. This post will be updated with the launch prices and first sale info once it becomes available.

Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G Launching on Amazon India on April 27th – Check Specs and Features

Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G – the latest flagship Android smartphone from the Chinese giants will launch in India on April 27th. Amazon India ( Amazon.in ) has a teaser promo page already live showcasing various specs and features of the Xiaomi 12 Pro India model. Official MRP launch prices and launch offers will be revealed in the coming days.

Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G was announced back in Dec 2021. Since this is a flagship, top-end smartphone, expect a starting price of Rs 80,000 or above.

Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4nm chipset and is equipped with a 4600 mAh battery. For graphics, it has got Adreno 730 GPU.

The base model has 8GB of ram and 128GB of storage. You can also buy this in 8GB ram + 256GB storage as well as 12GB ram + 256GB storage option. Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G comes in 4 different colors option – not sure all these models will come to the Indian market.

There are 3 cameras at the back of the Xiaomi 12 Pro. All are 50MP sensors. The ultra-wide lens has an F2.2 aperture and offers a 115-degree field of view. The telephoto lens and the main lens come with an F1.9 aperture lens. The telephoto lens offers 2x optical zoom and has PDAF auto-focus. The main camera supports Dual Pixel PDAF and has OIS support. Thanks to the big, higher megapixel sensors, you can record up to 8K@24fps videos.

Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G supports fast charging up to 120W and fast wireless charging up to 50W. This also supports 10W reverse charging which would let you easily charge your compatible wireless accessories.

Like most 2022 smartphones, there is no 3.5mm jack available. This has got WiFi 6 network support and comes with Bluetooth 5.2 to connect accessories. It uses an under the display fingerprint reader to quickly and securely unlock the system.
