Apple has launched the 2026 MacBook Air 13 / 15 with M5 in India. The 13-inch model starts at Rs 1,19,900 and the 15-inch model starts at Rs 1,44,900. Pre-orders begin March 4, 2026, on apple.com/in/store. Availability starts Wednesday, March 11, at Apple Store locations and Apple Authorised Resellers. Amazon India has listed various models for pre-order as well. Both models are available in Sky Blue, Midnight, Starlight, and Silver.

The MacBook Air with M5 is powered by the Apple M5 chip with a 10-core CPU and an up to 10-core GPU. Each GPU core includes a Neural Accelerator for on-device AI workloads. The chip features enhanced shader cores and a third-generation ray-tracing engine.

According to Apple, the M5 delivers up to 4x faster AI task performance compared to MacBook Air with M4, and up to 9.5x faster than MacBook Air with M1. Unified memory bandwidth is rated at 153GB/s, a 28 percent increase over M4.
