Intel’s 12th Gen processors ( Alder Lake ) are putting out some impressive performance scores in many benchmark tests. This wasn’t the case with last-gen 11th Gen processors, which Intel had to fight out with better chips from AMD which had more cores offering better multi-core performance.

The new 12th Gen Intel processor has got lots of cores to start with, and they are using a mixture of Performance-cores ( P-cores ) and Efficient-cores ( E-cores ) to get the best of both worlds.

Laptops powered by 12th Gen Intel processors are now available to purchase in Indian markets. MSI has launched a few 2022 gaming Raider GE76/GE66 and Stealth GS66 series laptops on Amazon India, powered with 12th Gen Core i7 ( Core i7-12700H ) and Core i9 ( Core i9-12900H / Core i9-12900HK ) processors, coupled with Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti laptop graphics GPUs.

In March 2022, Asus also joined the party by releasing some 2022 ROG Strix Scar 15/17 and TUF Dash 2022 Series laptops on Amazon.in with these new chipsets. This chipset has 4 P-cores ( Performance-cores ) and 8 E-cores ( Efficient-cores), and has a max turbo boost frequency of 4.70 GHz supported. For graphics, it uses integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics.
