If you have been waiting for something new to happen in the laptop space, this news from Intel will cheer you up. Intel has unveiled 13th Gen Intel® Core Mobile Processors line-up. There are a few different series chipsets announced – HX Series, H Series, P Series, and U Series. Like the previous gen 12th Gen Processors, the 13th Gen Intel processors also have a combination of P-cores ( Performance-cores ) and E-cores ( Efficient-cores ).

How to check if a processor is 13th Gen Intel or 12th Gen Intel processor?
It’s quite easy actually. Check the first two letters of the chipset name. For eg Core i9-13980HX is a 13th gen processor while Core i9-12900H is a 12th Gen processor.
As of this writing ( Jan 3, 2023 ), there is no 13th Gen Intel powered laptops available to purchase in India online on Flipkart or Amazon.in. We expect new 2023 laptops from Asus, HP, Lenovo, Dell, MSI, Acer, and LG to launch in the coming weeks and months with these new processors.

The top-end chipsets in this series have 24 cores with 8 P-cores and 16 E-cores. The max turbo boost clock frequency the Core i9-13980HX processor can achieve is 5.6 GHz.
13th Gen Intel® Core H Series processors include Core i9-13900HK, i9-13905H, i9-13900H, i7-13800H, i7-13705H, i7-13700H, i7-13620H, i5-13600H, i5-13505H, i5-13500H and i5-13420H. The top-end chipsets in this series have 14 cores with 6 P-cores and 8 E-cores. The max turbo boost clock frequency the P-core on the Core i9-13900HK, i9-13905H, and i9-13900H chipsets supports is 5.4Ghz.
13th Gen Intel® Core P Series processors include Core i7-1370P, i7-1360P, i5-1350P and i5-1340P. The top-end chipsets in this series have 14 cores with 6 P-cores and 8 E-cores. The max turbo boost clock frequency supported by the P-core on the Core i7-1370P chipset is 5.2 GHz.
13th Gen Intel® Core U Series processors include Core i7-1365U, i7-1355U, i5-1345U, i5-1335U, i5-1334U, i3-1315U, i3-1305U and Intel® Processor U300. Both Core i5 and Core i7 models in this series have 10 cores with 2 Performance-cores and 8 Efficient-cores. The max turbo boost supported by the P-core on the i7-1365U is 5.2 GHz.
