Entry-level Gaming and Creator laptops launched in 2022 were mostly powered by Nvidia RTX 3050, and GTX 1650 graphics laptop GPUs. There is also the RTX 2050 which we didn’t see on many laptops launched in India apart from some laptops from Acer. Going into 2023, we expect to continue seeing newer gaming laptops with RTX 3050 launching in India.

RTX 3050 / RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU belongs to the Nvidia RTX 30 Series Graphics and offers features like DLSS 2, NVIDIA Broadcast, Ray Tracing Cores, Tensor Cores (AI) etc which are missing on the Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics. So, unless you are on a very tight budget, it is recommended you for a laptop with RTX 3050 / RTX 3050 Ti GPU instead of older GTX 1650.

Dell, Asus, Acer, Lenovo, HP, MSI – all have launched RTX 3050 powered laptops in India online. Newer models have Alder Lake 12th Gen Intel processors while older models have Tiger Lake 11th Gen Intel processors. You can also find RTX 3050 with AMD Ryzen 5000 and 6000 Series processors.

This is powered by 11th Generation Intel Core i7-11800H octa-core processor and has 8GB ram and 512GB SSD storage. Lenovo has announced IdeaPad 5 Pro 16ARH7 2022 laptop models powered by AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS Creator Edition / AMD Ryzen 5 6600HS Creator Edition processors. For graphics, you can get this with AMD Radeon 660M, AMD Radeon 680M, NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 1650 Laptop GPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 3050 Laptop GPU or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU.

Lenovo has listed a couple of IdeaPad 5 Pro 16ARH7 Indian models as well online. These are 82SN004UIN and 82SN0059IN. Both these models are powered by AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS Creator Edition and have NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6 graphics.

Specs Difference between 82SN004UIN and 82SN0059IN

Both these models have almost identical specs. The main difference is in the display specifications. 82SN0059IN has a 16-inch 2.5K resolution screen with G-Sync and 120hz support. 82SN004UIN also has a 16-inch 2.5K resolution screen but doesn’t have a 120hz refresh rate screen or support for G-sync. 82SN0059IN display is Factory Color Calibrated. The official specs of the 82SN004UIN don’t mention Factory Color Calibration features.

Lenovo might launch more Indian models in the future part of the series.

Memory and Storage Specs

Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro 16ARH7 82SN004UIN / 82SN0059IN comes with 16GB Soldered LPDDR5-6400 ram memory and 512GB SSD storage ( M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0×4 NVMe ). It uses soldered memory and has no slots, hence is not upgradeable. In the storage department, this laptop only has a single drive ( up to 512GB M.2 2242 SSD or 1TB M.2 2280 SSD ).

Wireless and Connectivity

There is no WiFi 6E support available on these models. It has WiFi 6 instead ( 11ax 2×2 ) and supports Bluetooth 5.1 to connect accessories. There are 3 USB ports available – 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Always On) and 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (support data transfer, Power Delivery, and DisplayPort). Asus AiO A3 A3202 Desktop features a 21.45 inch Full HD screen with 100% sRGB color gamut output supported. It has a max brightness of 250nits and has an anti-glare screen. This series of models do not have touch support. Asus AiO A3 A3402 Desktop on the other hand features a slightly bigger 23.8 inch Full HD screen with touch support. It can output 100% sRGB color gamut and has a max brightness of 250nits. It also has an anti-glare screen.

Ram Memory and Storage

These 2022 Asus AIO desktops use DDR4 SO-DIMM 3200MHz RAM up to 8GB ram. In the storage department, it uses M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD and has an HDD slot according to the specs available online.

Other Features

These support WiFi 6 networks and have Bluetooth 5.2. Asus ships these models with Windows 11 Operating System and has MS Office Home and Student 2021 pre-installed.
