The Xiaomi Pad 7 is set to launch in India on January 10, 2025, as revealed by a “coming soon” promotional listing on Amazon.in. The tablet initially debuted in China in October 2024.

This mid-range Android tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. The base model features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while a higher-end variant offers 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 is equipped with an 8,850 mAh battery and supports 45W wired charging via a USB Type-C 3.2 port.

It runs on HyperOS 2, an operating system based on Android 15. It features an 11.2-inch IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support, and a peak brightness of 800 nits. It does support Sylus input.

Lenovo has announced the 2023 Tab M9 ZAC30175IN Android Tablet model for the Indian markets. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor and ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. There is no launch/release date or pricing info currently available.

2023 Lenovo Tab M9 ZAC30175IN comes with 4GB of ram and 64GB of internal storage. You can add more storage using a micro SD card ( up to 128GB, FAT32; 2TB, exFAT ). It features a 9-inch HD resolution ( 1340×800 pixels ) IPS screen with a max brightness of 400nits supported. It supports 10-point Multi-touch and has an anti-fingerprint coating for better usability.

Lenovo has announced the 2023 Tab M9 in a few different ram + storage options. The cheapest model comes with 3GB of ram and 32GB of storage. The top-end model has 4GB of ram and 128GB of storage ( eMMC 5.1 ).

Lenovo Tab M8 4th Gen features an 8-inch HD resolution (1280×800, 15:9 aspect ratio ) IPS screen with multi-touch support. It has a max brightness of 350 nits and covers 60% NTSC color gamut. The max refresh rate supported is 60Hz. It has an anti-fingerprint surface. This tablet doesn’t support stylus/pen input.

Apple has unveiled the 10th Gen iPad 10.9 Models and they are now available to pre-order online in India from Apple Store and will soon be available to purchase from Flipkart / Amazon.in etc. While the 8th gen and 9th gen iPad models came with a 10.2-inch display, the new iPad 10th gen has a slightly bigger 10.9-inch display. You can easily guess the new 10th Gen iPad 10.9 is not actually replacing the older 9th Gen iPad models when you look at their launch prices. The price for the new iPad 10th Gen in India starts at ₹44900 while the 9th Gen was available for as low as ₹24900 during the Oct Great Indian Festival 2022 Sale ( MRP Price: ₹33900 ).

Apple has removed the Touch ID button from the 10th Gen iPad 10.9. Touch ID unlock is still there, but it’s now moved to the power button. Apple is ditching its lightning port and is moving to USB Type-C on these new models. The camera which used to be on the Portrait side is now moved to the Landscape side, and it now has more Pixels to let you make better video calls.

The rear camera is now 12MP and has an F1.8 aperture lens. It now supports 4K video recording @ 24fps, 25fps, 30fps and 60fps. The Landscape Ultra Wide camera on the front is also 12MP. It has an F2.4 aperture lens. There is no 4K recording support available on this camera.

The new iPad 10th Gen 10.9 still only supports the first-gen Apple pencil. There is no Apple M1 or M2 chip available, but it now has a fast A14 Bionic Chip. The 9th gen models came with an A13 Bionic chip. It now works with Magic Keyboard Folio while older models only support Smart Keyboard.

Older iPad 8th and 9th Gen models only supported WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2. The new 10th Gen iPad comes with Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax, 2.4GHz and 5GHz ) and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.
