Honor has officially launched MagicBook X 14 and MagicBook X 15 laptop models in India online. The price starts at ₹38,990 ( April 2022 ). Amazon.in has now listed these models and are now available to purchase.

Honor MagicBook X 14 and MagicBook X 15 Laptops are aimed at a budget audience. These are not powered by the latest 12th Gen or even 11th Gen Intel processors. Instead, these have older generation 10th Gen Intel Core i3 / Core i5 processors.

All these models have backlit keyboards and come with a pop-up webcam integrated onto the keyboard. These have Full HD displays with an IPS panel for a good viewing angle. You can quickly unlock the laptop using the Fingerprint Power Button.

MagicBook X 15 is equipped with a 42Wh battery while X 14 has got a bigger capacity battery at 56Whr. Honor uses a USB Type-C power adapter to juice up these Magicbook laptops. This is the reason why the 14-inch Honor MagicBook base model costs more than the 15-inch base model.

HONOR MagicBook X 15 base model ( BBR-WAI9 ) costs ₹38,990 in India online. It is powered by 10th generation Intel Core i3-10110U dual-core processor. It comes with 8GB of ram and has 256GB of SSD storage.

HONOR MagicBook X 14 base model ( NBR-WAI9 ) has a launch price tag of ₹39,990. It is also powered by the same Intel Core i3-10110U processor and has 8GB ram + 256GB SSD storage.

HONOR MagicBook X 14 NBR-WAH9 is currently the most expensive one in this series. It costs ₹46,990 in India and is powered by 10th generation Intel Core i5-10210U quad-core processor. It comes with 8GB of ram and has 512GB SSD storage.

March 31st Update: HONOR MagicBook X 15, X 14 will be available to purchase in India at a starting price of Rs 36,990 ( including Rs 2000 Instant Discount Launch Offer + Rs 2000 HDFC Bank Discount offer ).

Honor MagicBook X 15 and MagicBook X 14 laptops are powered by 10th Gen Intel processors. The basic models have 10th gen Intel Core i3-10110U dual-core processor while the more expensive ones are powered by Core i5-10210U quad-core processor. There is no Core i7 model listed on Honor’s website or Amazon.in.

You can buy this with 8GB or 16GB ram, with 256GB or 512GB SSD storage options. The display on the MagicBook X 15, X 14 laptops are Full HD screens with a basic 45% NTSC color gamut. You can buy this in two colors options – Space Gray and Mystic Silver.

Honor has powered these models with a 56Wh battery and provides a 65W Type-C Fast Charger in the box. It features a Fingerprint Power Button and has a Supersized Cooling Fan.

Buying Advice
It’s very rare to see a new laptop launching in India in 2022 to come with a few generation old Intel 10th Generation processors. If Honor doesn’t price this right in India, it wouldn’t be a great value for money purchase as many 2021 laptops from various manufacturers use the newer 11th Gen Core i3 and Core i5 processors which are performance-wise better.
