Hi, does anyone know which kind of storage does this model have, 256gb in 2.5 inch SSD or M.2 SSD, and if it is M.2 SSD then does it have an empty 2.5 inch SSD slot.
Looking at other AMD Ryzen 3 5300U laptops in this series, this model should have 256GB M.2 2242 PCIe 3.0×4 NVMe. And these models support Up to two drives, 2x M.2 SSD

Are you sure its PCIe. Some places mention SATA for first ssd
Official specs of other AMD Ryzen 3 5300U laptops in the ThinkPad E14 Gen 3 (AMD) Series have M.2 2242 PCIe 3.0×4 NVMe. So this model should have the same. There is no mentioning of SATA SSD at all in ThinkPad E14 Gen 3 (AMD) series specs.
Yes you are right, looks like there is no 2.5″ SSD, only first gen E14 had that empty slot, in my research got to know the battery shape changed (got lengthier unlike the prior rectangular shape) due to which there is no space left for 2.5″ SSD bay. I received this laptop yesterday and soon will get it opened and checked for sure. Thanks admin.
