Lenovo IdeaCentre Gaming 5 17IAB7 12th Gen Intel 2022 Models [ India ]

Lenovo has announced 2022 IdeaCentre Gaming 5 17IAB7 Tower Desktops powered by 12th Gen Intel processors for the Indian market. As of this writing, there are 4 different models available powered by Alder Lake Intel processors and Nvidia RTX 30 Series GPUs. The top-end model in the 2022 Lenovo IdeaCentre Gaming 5 17IAB7 Desktop series is powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700F and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB graphics. The Core i7-12700F chipset has 12 cores including 8 performance cores ( P-cores ) and 4 efficiency cores ( E-cores ). The performance cores have a base frequency of 2.1Ghz and support a turbo boost clock of up to 4.8Ghz. The efficiency cores have a base clock of 1.6Ghz and a turbo boost up to 3.6Ghz.

IdeaCentre Gaming 5 17IAB7 models will also be available to purchase with Core i7-12700, Core i5-12400F, and Core i5-12400 12th Gen Intel Alder lake processors. The cheaper models have NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or GTX 1660 SUPER dedicated graphics. You can also buy this with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GPU.

It comes with Two DDR4 UDIMM slots and supports a maximum of 32GB of DDR4-3200 ram memory. In the storage department, this tower desktop supports up to three drives – 2x 3.5″ HDD + 1x M.2 SSD.

Lenovo has equipped these models with WiFi and Bluetooth. Some models come with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, while some others have WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0.

There are plenty of ports available. There are a total of 4 USB ports on front – 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2, and 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (support data transfer and 5V@3A charging). You also get a 3.5mm headphone/mic combo jack on the front.

On the rear, this has got 4x USB 2.0 ports, 1x VGA Port, 1x HDMI 2.0b port, RJ-45 Ethernet port, and Headphone Jack, and a power connector.

Lenovo ships these Desktops with the latest Windows 11 Home operating system. You can also buy some models with no OS pre-installed.
