Lenovo has announced the 2023 ThinkPad E14 Gen 5 (Intel) models for the Indian market. These laptops are powered by the latest 13th Gen Raptor Lake Intel processors and will be available to purchase in the coming months online from Flipkart / Amazon.in / Lenovo Store etc.
The ThinkPad E14 Gen 5 is available in a variety of configurations, with processors ranging from the Core i3-1315U to the Core i7-1360P ( Core i5-1335U, Core i5-1340P, Core i7-1355U ). The laptops also come with a choice of integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics or a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX550 GPU.
The ThinkPad E14 Gen 5 has a 14-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) display with a max brightness of 300 nits. The display is also anti-glare and covers 45% of the NTSC color gamut. Some models also support multi-touch. There is also a high-end variant with a 2.2K (2240×1400) resolution 100% sRGB display listed on Lenovo specs website.
Lenovo uses a soldered memory + SO-DIMM DDR4-3200 memory configuration on the ThinkPad E14 Gen 5. The max memory supported is up to 32GB (16GB soldered + 16GB SO-DIMM). The laptops also support up to two drives (2x M.2 SSD).
Laptops with the NVIDIA GeForce MX550 2GB GDDR6 graphics are equipped with an integrated 57Wh battery, while others have an integrated 47Wh battery. The laptops come with a 65W USB-C (3-pin) power adapter.
In terms of wireless connectivity, the ThinkPad E14 Gen 5 has Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201, 11ax 2×2 + BT5.1. It also comes with an RJ-45 Ethernet port for wired connectivity.
