What We Like about this Laptop

  • 16-inch FHD+ OLED display with 95% DCI-P3 coverage
  • 16GB DDR5 RAM – enough ram for general purpose multi-tasking
  • 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD offering good I/O speeds
  • 70Wh battery – not as big as the 99Whr battery some of the Asus laptops ship with – but 70Wh is good enough.

  • 89% screen-to-body ratio

What We Dislike about this Laptop

  • 60Hz refresh rate – for a laptop at this price, we expect at least a 90Hz refresh rate support
  • 300-nit peak brightness only – despite being an OLED panel, it doesn’t support a higher brightness like 500nits – at least.
  • No newer WiFi 6E or WiFi 7 network support
  • USB-C ports are limited to 5Gbps, rather than offering faster USB 10Gbps or Thunderbolt/USB4 connectivity.
  • No Ethernet port or microSD card reader is included.
  • At 1.7kg, it is not particularly lightweight for a general-purpose laptop.
