Laptop prices in 2026 carry the cost of a steep rise in memory and storage prices, so newly listed models sell for more than configurations already on the shelves. Before ordering, check whether earlier IdeaPad Slim 3 model numbers are still listed and in stock, as one of them may be available at a lower price.
Lenovo 82XQ01WCIN laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen 5 40, a 4-core, 8-thread chip that runs at a 2.8 GHz base clock and boosts up to 4.3 GHz, with 2MB L2 and 4MB L3 cache. Graphics come from the integrated AMD Radeon 610M.
Memory is fixed at 8GB of LPDDR5-5500, soldered to the system board in dual-channel mode. There are no memory slots, so the RAM cannot be upgraded later.
For storage, it has 512GB M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD, fitted in a single M.2 PCIe 3.0 x2 slot. Lenovo lists support for only one drive of up to 1TB (M.2 2242) which is occupied by the 512GB SSD it comes with.
There is no IPS panel on this model instead it features a 15.6-inch FHD (1920×1080) TN panel with an anti-glare finish and is rated at 250 nits. It is a non-touch screen with an 88% active area ratio, and carries TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification (software solution).
Viewing angles of a TN Panel is not as good as an IPS panel or an OLED panel. We would say this is a big disadvantage of this laptop model. ( 45° / 45° / 15° / 35° vs 85° / 85° / 85° / 85° ).
Wireless support covers Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax, 2×2) and Bluetooth 5.2. There is no onboard Ethernet port.
