Lenovo has announced ThinkPad E15 Gen 4 (Intel) models for the Indian market. These are powered by Alder Lake 12th Gen Intel Processors and most of them have integrated Intel UHD Graphics / Intel Iris Xe Graphics.
Some models do come with discrete NVIDIA® GeForce MX550 graphics. Lenovo has listed a few models as part of this 2022 series online. Check them out below.
The base model part of the ThinkPad E15 Gen 4 Intel series is powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1215U processor while the high-end models have Core i7-1260P processor. There are other models listed with Core i5-1235U, Core i7-1255U and Core i5-1240P processors as well.
It has one DDR4 SO-DIMM slot while one memory is soldered to the system board, The max ram memory supported is 40GB ( 8GB soldered + 32GB SO-DIMM ).
In the storage department, it supports up to two drives ( 2x M.2 SSD, One M.2 2242 PCIe® 3.0 x4 slot, One M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot ).
The below listed Indian models support 6Ghz WiFi 6E ( Intel AX211 ) and have Bluetooth 5.1. These are equipped with an integrated 45Wh battery and use 65W USB-C (3-pin) power adapter.
Acer has launched Aspire 5 A515-57 NX.K2USI.004 laptop model powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U processor ( 10 cores, 2 P-cores, 8 E-cores ) in India online. For graphics, it uses integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. There are two models currently listed on Acer India website part of the series – one comes in Glacier Blue color ( NX.K2USI.004 ) and the other in Safari Gold.
Acer Aspire 5 A515-57 NX.K2USI.004 features a 14-inch Full HD screen with an IPS panel and has an elevated design. It comes with 8GB ram ( 2x 4GB ) and 512GB of SSD storage ( PCIe Gen4, 16 Gb/s up to 4 lanes, NVMe ). The max ram memory supported is 32 GB ( using two SODIMM modules ).
According to the specs available on the Acer website of the NX.K2USI.004, this model has Intel® Wireless Wi-Fi 6E AX211, and supports Bluetooth 5.2. Amazon.in product description just mentions WiFi 6. It is equipped with 3-cell 50 Wh battery. There are 4 USB ports available on this laptop – 2x USB 3.2 Port, 1x USB 3.2 Port with Power-off charging, 1x USB Type-C Thunderbolt-4 Port.
It ships with Windows 11 Home operating system and comes with MS Office Home & Student 2021 pre-installed. This laptop weighs 1.76 KG. It has a backlit keyboard and a fingerprint reader just above the touchpad.

For graphics, there is no dedicated Nvidia or AMD graphics available on this, instead, it uses integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics GPU.
Lenovo ships this model with 16GB of ram and 1TB of SSD storage. It uses Soldered LPDDR5-5600 and can’t be upgraded. In the storage department, this model only supports a single drive and uses an M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0×4 NVMe SSD.

Lenovo has listed Yoga Slim 7 ProX 14IAH7 India Models powered by Alder Lake 12th Gen Intel processors. Lenovo uses Core i5-12500H / Core i7-12700H processor to power up laptops in this series. For graphics, entry-level models have either Intel Iris Xe Graphics integrated or NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 1650 Laptop GPU. The top-end models in this series have NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 3050 Laptop GPU.
As of this writing, Lenovo has listed 4 Yoga Slim 7 ProX 14IAH7 different models for the Indian market. 82TK001NIN, 82TK001PIN, 82TK0025IN and 82TK00AFIN are these variants. All these are powered by 12th gen Intel Core i7-12700H 14-core processor. 82TK001NIN model has NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB GDDR6 graphics while 82TK001PIN, 82TK0025IN and 82TK00AFIN have NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6 graphics.
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 ProX 14IAH7 laptops use Soldered LPDDR5-6000 ram memory and M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0×4 NVMe SSD storage. Currently listed Indian models ship with 16GB of ram and 1TB SSD storage.
For display, these have 14.5 inch, 3K (3072×1920) resolution IPS screen with a max brightness of 400nits supported. The max refresh rate supported is 120hz. Buying Advice The specs of this model is from 2021. It has a 10th gen Intel Core i3 processor, which is now 3 generations old as Intel has just unveiled 13th Gen processors. TN panels generally don’t offer as good a viewing angle as IPS screens. In my opinion, it would be a good idea to buy newer generation, 2022 launch laptops instead of this model.
