Apple has officially announced the price of iPhone SE 2020 ( 2nd Gen ) in India. It will be sold for an MRP price of Rs 42,500 for the base model. It comes in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options, and will be available in Product Red, Black and White colors in India.
iPhone SE is now listed online in India on Amazon.in ( Check here ). It will be available to pre-order in the coming weeks.
iPhone SE 2020 Price in the US is $399. In India, when you convert Rs 42,500 INR to US Dollars, the price is around $555. It is considered as an affordable, budget iPhone offering from Apple, but in India, it can’t be considered as one for that big price.
We had a similar experience from Google last year when they launched Pixel 3a. The price in the US was $399 and the price here was much higher at Rs 39,999. Upcoming Pixel 4a will be sold for a similar price as well in India.
Apple surprised everyone in the tech industry by launching a new iPhone for just $399 US dollars. A lot of Android users would be tempted to jump ship and try one of these now thanks to the aggressive, quite affordable pricing.
iPhone SE 2nd Gen or 2020 Edition is powered by the same exact chipset as the one you see on the expensive iPhone 11 Pro Max. The A13 Bionic chipset is considered as the most powerful processor currently available on a smartphone, so for $399, iPhone SE has a upper hand when it comes to performance. Take any other Android phone in this price range, you would see a mid-range Qualcomm chipset instead of a flagship Snapdragon 865 5G.
iPhone SE is, in fact, competing against Apple’s own previous generation iPhones. Until now, the budget variant available in the market was iPhone XR, which is powered by a generation old A12 Bionic and comes with similar features as the new SE.
iPhone XR has a bigger 6.1 inch IPS Liquid Retina display while the iPhone SE has a 4.7 inch HD display which we have seen in older generation phones like iPhone 8.
Both XR and SE feature a single 12MP F1.8 camera at the back. The usual features like Portrait mode, Auto HDR, etc are supported on both. However, since the newer SE has A13 Bionic chipset on board, it can achieve a few camera features you don’t see on older iPhones. Smart HDR and Computational photography would give pictures from the SE better quality over older iPhones.
Specs both have in Common
IPS LCD Screen – HD Resolution
12MP main Camera, 7MP front camera
IP67 Water and Dust Resistant
iOS updates for years to come
4k at 60fps support
Pros of buying an iPhone SE over iPhones XR
Touch ID Sensor part of Home button
Fastest chipset – A13 bionic
Smart HDR, Better Dynamic Range during Video, Computational Photography

Recently launched Huawei’s flagship phone P40 Pro is a camera monster. It has a main 50MP sensor with an F1.9 aperture as well as a wide-angle 40MP sensor with an F1.8 lens. Both these sensors are much bigger in size than the ones you normally see on current-day smartphones, resulting in better dynamic range, low light photography as well as better bokeh. It is actually even slightly bigger in size than the mighty 108MP Samsung sensor seen on Galaxy S20 Ultra and Mi 10.
DxOMark Score is often considered as an industry standard for customers to look at and see how good Cameras on a newly launched Smartphone is. Looking at Huawei P40 Pro’s score, we can say without any doubt it is indeed a camera monster. It scores a top score of 128 in DxOMark’s test. Head on to the source link below to see sample images, detail review and test charts to know more about the cameras inside the P40 Pro.

Google Pixel Phones are famous for their computational photography magic. The HDR+ and Night mode Google Camera offers are second to none. They often produce usable, noiseless images in even difficult lighting conditions with often just a click.
In other areas, however, Google pixel phones often fail to achieve high flagship standards.
Let’s take Pixel 4 for an example. When everyone was pushing out phones with an ultra-wide-angle lens, google chose to ship it with a telephoto lens instead. A true flagship phone should have had all 3 focal lengths on boart – telephoto, wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle. Look at iPhone 11 Pro for an example. Pixel 4 also didn’t support 4K at 60fps, which iPhones have been doing for years.
According to many reports and leaks online, Google’s 2020 flagship Pixel 5 would be a mid-range Android smartphone. While everyone else is using Snapdragon 865 on their high-end phones, Google is rumored to be shipping Pixel 5 with Snapdragon 765G instead. Thankfully, this is also a 5G chipset.
Apple is rumored to be planning to launch a mid-range iPhone in 2020, similar to its older iPhone SE. Maybe, Google wants to compete with this upcoming iPhone and had to cut costs. That would be a good reason to go for SD765G instead of SD865.
Google is also planning to launch Pixel 4a soon with mid-range specs and $399 price. It will probably launch in India as well in the upcoming months.
Xiaomi and Amazon.in was gearing up to launch Mi 10 5G in India on March 31st, 2020. The display is a 6.67 inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. The maximum refresh rate supported is 90hz, which should give a fluid UI experience.

Currently, on DxOMark Mobile Phone Camera Ratings, Mi 10 shares the top spot along with Oppo Find X2.
Since this has such a high megapixel main camera, and thanks to top-end Snapdragon 865 on board, it can shoot 8K videos. 4K at 60fps as well as Full HD slow-motion videos are supported as well.
Mi 10 also comes with a 13MP F2.4 aperture ultra-wide-angle lens. There are two more sensors at the back. A 2MP sensor is used to capture depth information to use in portrait mode and another 2MP sensor next to it lets you shoot macro shots.
