Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 82RK0062IN keyboard

It comes with 8GB of ram and 512GB SSD storage. The 8GB DDR4-3200 ram is soldered to the board. The max ram memory supported is up to 16GB (8GB soldered + 8GB SO-DIMM). In the storage department, it uses a M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0×4 NVMe SSD drive and only supports a single drive.

Lenovo has announced IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ARH7 2022 laptops for the Indian market. These new models are powered by AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processor and come with Nvidia RTX 30 Series GPU. Currently, there is no official launch info or MRP price info available for these models. These will be available to purchase online in India from Flipkart / Amazon.in / Croma etc in the upcoming weeks.

Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ARH7 82SB008QIN and 82SB00B9IN laptop models are powered by AMD Ryzen 5 6600H Hexa-core processor while 82SB008RIN and 82SB00BAIN variants have a more powerful Ryzen 7 6800H octa-core processor. Lenovo has officially announced 2022 ThinkPad Z16 Gen 1 models for the Indian market. These new models are powered by AMD Ryzen 6000 Pro Series processors and use AMD Radeon Graphics GPU.

The cheapest models in the Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 Gen 1 Series are powered by AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 6650H Hexa-core processor. The high-end, most expensive models have AMD Ryzen 9 PRO 6950H octa-core processor and come with discrete 4GB AMD Radeon RX 6500M graphics. You can also buy this with AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850H octa-core processor.

Lenovo has equipped Thinkpad Z16 Gen 1 with a Li-Polymer 72Wh battery, that supports Rapid Charge (charge up to 80% in 1hr). Lenovo supplies a 135W USB-C slim (3-pin) AC adapter in the box.

Thinkpad Z16 comes with 6Ghz Wi-Fi 6E support and has Bluetooth 5.2. For better video calls and faster system unlock, Lenovo has built-in an IR & FHD 1080p Hybrid camera with E-camera Shutter for privacy. These models ship with Windows 11 Pro 64 operating system.

Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 Gen 1 21D2001KIG is powered by AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U octa-core processor. This chipset has a base frequency of 2.7Ghz and supports up to 4.7Ghz boost clock speed. It supports up to 16 threads and has 16MB L3 cache. For graphics, the 21D2001KIG model has got Integrated AMD Radeon 680M Graphics GPU.

For graphics, most of these use integrated Intel UHD / Intel Iris Xe GPU. Lenovo also ships some of these with dedicated 2GB GDDR6 NVIDIA GeForce MX550 discrete GPU.

It has a 14-inch Full HD anti-glare display which is in all likely a TN panel instead of an IPS panel. The specs on Amazon.in doesn’t mention if this has an IPS or TN panel, however, the max brightness this supports is 250nits, which matches with official specs as the IPS panel on this Thinkpad has 300nits and the TN panel has 250nits ( according to the official specs sheet ). Lenovo has equipped this model with a Li-Polymer 45Wh battery, with Rapid Charge support (charge up to 80% in 1hr).

This model has a more powerful 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1255U processor and comes with 16GB of ram and 1TB of SSD storage. The 14-inch display on this variant supports a max brightness of 300nits and is likely an IPS panel. Like the above model, this too has a 45Whr battery.

Lower end, entry-level ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 2022 models are powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1215U Hexa-core / Core i5-1235U 10-cores / Core i5-1240P 12-core processor. You can also buy these with Core i7-1255U or Core i7-1260P 12-core processor.

2022 Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 Intel India

The max ram memory supported by ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 is 40GB. It has a single DDR4 SO-DIMM slot and uses DDR4-3200 memory. Of the possible 40GB ram, 8GB ram is soldered to the board. In the storage department, these models have Two M.2 slots supporting up to 1TB M.2 2242 SSD storage.

Lenovo has powered 2022 ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 models with an integrated 45Wh battery and supplies 65W USB-C (3-pin) power adapter. NVIDIA GeForce MX550 2GB GDDR6 powered variants ship with a bigger 57Wh battery.

As of this writing, almost all Thinkpad E14 Gen 4 Indian models come with a 14-inch Full HD TN panel instead of an IPS panel which is quite surprising. TN panels generally do not have that good viewing angle when compared to an IPS panel. ( 90° vs 170° ).

Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14ABA7 2022 Series uses soldered memory and supports up to 16GB of ram memory. The Ryzen 3 5425U model uses single-channel memory while Ryzen 5 5625U and Ryzen 7 5825U models have dual-channel ram memory. You can’t upgrade or add more ram as these don’t have any DIMM slots.

In the storage department, this supports a single drive only ( 512GB M.2 2242 SSD or 1TB M.2 2280 SSD ).

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 21CB000LIG is powered by Alder Lake 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1240P 12-core processor which has 4 Performance-cores ( P-cores ) and 8 Efficient-cores ( E-cores ).

P-cores on this support a base frequency of 1.7Ghz and a Max turbo frequency up to 4.40Ghz. E-cores have a base clock of 1.2Ghz and can go up to 3.30Ghz. This chipset supports a total of 16 threads. For graphics, it uses integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics GPU.

Oct 18, 2022 Update: Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 21CB002JIG with 12th Gen Intel Core i7 Launched in India ( 16GB / 1TB SSD / Windows 11 Pro ).

The high-end models are powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1280P, Core i7-1270P, and Core i7-1260P processors while cheaper models have Core i5-1250P or Core i5-1240P processors. There is no model announced with a dedicated graphics card.

ThinkPad X1 Carbon 21CB000LIG comes with 8GB of ram and has 1TB SSD storage. It uses the new LPDDR5-5200 Soldered memory and doesn’t have any slots to add more ram memory. In the storage department, this model supports a single drive only – up to 2TB M.2 2280 SSD.

The display on this laptop is a 14 inch 2.2K resolution (2240×1400 pixels) IPS screen with a max brightness of 300nits and has an anti-glare coating. It ships with Windows 11 Pro 64 operating system.
