Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold 16 Gen 1 21ES0015IG ( 16.3″ QSXGA Folding OLED Touchscreen )

Lenovo has announced ThinkPad X1 Fold 16 Gen 1 21ES0015IG Foldable OLED laptop for the Indian market. The launch date, MRP pricing, availability etc are not announced at the time of the writing. We expect this to be available to pre-order / purchase in the coming weeks online from Flipkart / Amazon.in etc.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold 16 Gen 1 21ES0015IG is a premium foldable laptop powered by Alder Lake U 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1250U 10-core processor. It features a 16.3-inch QSXGA resolution Folding OLED display with multi-touch support. It comes bundled with ThinkPad Bluetooth TrackPoint Keyboard and Stand and Lenovo Precision Pen 2 with USB Cable.

Lenovo ships this model with 16GB of ram memory ( Soldered LPDDR5-5200 ) and 1TB of SSD storage ( M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0×4 NVMe Opal2 ). It is equipped with an integrated 64Wh battery (48Wh + 16Wh) and comes with a 65W USB-C Slim (3-pin) power adapter.

ThinkPad X1 Fold 16 Gen 1 21ES0015IG comes with Windows 11 Pro operating system and has Intel Connectivity Performance Suite bundled. Like many other high-end laptops launched in 2022, this too supports WiFi 6E ( Intel AX211 Wi-Fi 6E, 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.1 ).

ThinkPad X1 Fold is also available to purchase with Core i7-1260U, Core i5-1240U, and Core i5-1230U processors. However, Lenovo 21ES0015IG is currently the only Indian model listed.

Amazon India ( Amazon.in ) has listed the 2022 Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 21CB002JIG laptop online. This new model is part of the 2022 ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 Series. All models part of this series is powered by Alder Lake 12th Gen Intel processor.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 21CB002JIG features a 14-inch WUXGA resolution (1920×1200) IPS screen with a peak brightness of 400nits. It has an anti-glare coating to cut out reflections. Lenovo ships this laptop with Windows 11 Pro operating system.

Lenovo 21CB002JIG is powered by Alder Lake U Intel Core i7-1255U 10-core processor which has 2 Performance-cores and 8 Efficient-cores supporting a total of 12 threads. The max turbo boost clock this processor supports is 4.7Ghz. For graphics, it uses Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics.

However, if you look at the official specs of ThinkBook 15 21DJA04PIH Series, all 250nits display coming under this series have a TN panel and 45% NTSC color gamut, and all 300nits brightness display has an IPS panel and 100% sRGB color gamut. So this most likely has got a TN Panel.
