12th Gen Intel Core i3 processors are expected to take over the budget and entry-level laptops launching in late 2022. There are a few different 12th Gen Alder Lake Core i3 chipsets Intel has made available to laptop OEMs. Some of these are used on Desktop models like Lenovo IdeaCentre Gaming 5 17IAB7 while others are aimed at entry-level laptops.

12th Gen Intel Core i3 processors have more cores than their predecessors. The 11th Gen chipsets such as Core i3-1125G4 and Core i3-1115G4 only had one type of core while the newer processors come with 2 types of cores – Performance-core ( P-cores ) and Efficient-core ( E-core ).

Lenovo has announced the Legion 5 Pro 16IAH7 82S0001TIN laptop model powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H 14-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Graphics ( 4GB GDDR6, Boost Clock 1695MHz, TGP 95W ).

As of this writing, we don’t have any launch date or MRP price info available. It is expected to launch in the upcoming months online on Flipkart / Amazon.in etc and is expected to cost under 1 Lakh INR.

Lenovo is also expected to launch other models in the Legion 5 Pro 16IAH7 series in India. All models in this series are powered by Core i7-12700H chipset and Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics.
