Lenovo India has launched the Legion 5 82RB00K8IN Laptop variant powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 Series Graphics GPU. This is an upper mid-range gaming laptop featuring a 15.6-inch WQHD resolution IPS screen with a max refresh rate of 165hz supported.

OnePlus has launched Nord Watch First Gen model in India online. The MRP list price is ₹6,999. It will be available for a lower launch selling price of ₹4,999 for a limited time. You also can get extra discounts with some Bank Credit / Debit cards. Amazon.in has listed this model online. It comes in two color options – Midnight Black and Deep Blue.

OnePlus Nord Watch features a 1.78-inch AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 500nits supported. The screen has a native resolution of 368*448 pixels with 326PPI. The max refresh rate supported by this display is 60hz.

OnePlus is launching a new health app called N Health along with the Nord Smartwatch. This is an exercise and health app that when connected to OnePlus Nord Watch, lets you monitor your health and activities. The Home screen of the app gives you an overview of your daily activity, exercise records etc.

Like every other smartwatch in the market, the OnePlus Nord Watch also lets you change the default watch faces. As of this writing, you can choose from over 100 watch faces.

New Launches in Gadgets, Tech and Electronics in India [ Oct 2022 ]

Apple iPhone 14 Series

Apple has launched 4 new iPhones as part of this series – iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. While the Pro models are powered by the new Apple A16 chip, the regular 14 models have an older A15 chip. The new Pro models also for the first time in an iPhone feature a 48MP sensor. We are yet to see 8K recording like the Samsung flagship Android phones, however, these new iPhones offer great photographic possibilities.

Apple has also launched the new 2022 iPad 10.9 (10th Gen) with USB Type-C along with new iPad Pro Tablets with Apple M2 chip in India online.

Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro

Even though these phones are yet to be officially launched in the market, Google itself has revealed a lot about these upcoming 2022 flagship pixel phones in the form of promo videos that revealed the device designs and looks in full. Pixel 7 Series are powered by the 2nd gen Tensor chip which google calls G2. The Pro version has 3 cameras at the back and the regular model has 2 cameras.

If you have been frustrated with Google not releasing the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro models in India, you would be happy to know, this time around Google India has officially announced the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be available to pre-order from Flipkart starting Oct 6th onwards.

GoPro HERO 11 Black, DJI Osmo Action, Insta 360 X3 Action Cameras

GoPro has launched the Hero 11 Black ‎CHDHX-111-RW Action Camera in India online with a new sensor and new recording capabilities. It offers an Ultra Versatile 8:7 Aspect Ratio which makes it easy to crop for vertical shots which has now common for Instagram Reels, Tiktok, Youtube Shorts, etc.

GoPro’s main competitor in the action camera market Insta360 has also launched a new camera in India – Insta360 X3 – which has a 1/2″ Sensor and is capable of 5.7K 360 Capture and 72 MP 360 Photo.

Another competitor, DJI, has also launched a new action camera – DJI Osmo Action 3. Thankfully, DJI has learned from its mistakes with the Osmo Action 2 which had a modular design and wasn’t suitable for intense action scenarios. The new Osmo 3 Action has a similar design as the first-gen Osmo Action which was launched a while back. This camera is yet to be available in India.

Lenovo Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 2022 6GB ram variants are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon SDM680 Octa-Core processor while the 4GB ram variants have MediaTek Helio G80 Octa-Core processor. It features a 10.6 inch 2K resolution IPS display with a native resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. This LCD panel supports a peak brightness of 400 nits and is TÜV Low Blue Light-certified.
