ASUS has launched Vivobook Pro 16 K6602HC-N1902WS / K6602HC-N1901WS Laptop powered by 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11900H octa-core processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop Graphics in India online. Amazon India ( Amazon.in ) has listed these two models online. As of this writing, this is not available to purchase from the Asus India Store website. It might come in stock in the future.

ASUS Vivobook Pro 16 K6602HC-N1902WS / K6602HC-N1901WS features a 16-inch Full HD+ (1920 x 1200, WUXGA) resolution screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It has an IPS-level Panel supporting a max refresh rate of 120Hz. This screen covers 100% sRGB color gamut and is PANTONE Validated. The max brightness supported is 300 nits. There is no touchscreen supported available on this model. Asus has a similar series named Vivobook Pro 16 OLED (K6602) which has an OLED panel.

This is an entry-level 12th Gen Intel-powered laptop coming under Rs 50,000 price range. There isn’t many Core i3 12th Gen laptops currently available to purchase in India as of this writing. We expect to see a lot more new laptop launches with these new processors to arrive in early 2023.

Asus launching new 2023 laptops on January 4 [ CES 2023 ]

Asus has announced the Seeing An Incredible Future virtual launch CES 2023 Event time and date. The online-only event is scheduled to go live on January 4, 2023, at 10 a.m. PST online on Asus.com.

According to the official event page, the event will showcase exciting innovations spanning creator, consumer, business, gaming laptops, displays, desktops, mini PCs, and more. Asus also plans to showcase never-before-seen-on-a-laptop technologies and Never-before-seen display capabilities reads the official blog post.

During the event, expect to see the most updated and powerful silicon unveiled, with stunning graphics and processing capabilities, and incredible OLED panels. Beyond performance, ASUS laptops are more durable than ever, undergoing rigorous military grade durability testing to ensure extended product lifecycles. Also, this year, ASUS plans to showcase never-before-seen-on-a-laptop technologies that will transform the way we work, play, create, and interact with laptops.

Entry-level Gaming and Creator laptops launched in 2022 were mostly powered by Nvidia RTX 3050, and GTX 1650 graphics laptop GPUs. There is also the RTX 2050 which we didn’t see on many laptops launched in India apart from some laptops from Acer. Going into 2023, we expect to continue seeing newer gaming laptops with RTX 3050 launching in India.

RTX 3050 / RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU belongs to the Nvidia RTX 30 Series Graphics and offers features like DLSS 2, NVIDIA Broadcast, Ray Tracing Cores, Tensor Cores (AI) etc which are missing on the Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics. So, unless you are on a very tight budget, it is recommended you for a laptop with RTX 3050 / RTX 3050 Ti GPU instead of older GTX 1650.

Dell, Asus, Acer, Lenovo, HP, MSI – all have launched RTX 3050 powered laptops in India online. Newer models have Alder Lake 12th Gen Intel processors while older models have Tiger Lake 11th Gen Intel processors. You can also find RTX 3050 with AMD Ryzen 5000 and 6000 Series processors.

Lenovo has announced IdeaPad 5 Pro 16ARH7 2022 laptop models powered by AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS Creator Edition / AMD Ryzen 5 6600HS Creator Edition processors. For graphics, you can get this with AMD Radeon 660M, AMD Radeon 680M, NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 1650 Laptop GPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 3050 Laptop GPU or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU.

Lenovo has listed a couple of IdeaPad 5 Pro 16ARH7 Indian models as well online. These are 82SN004UIN and 82SN0059IN. Both these models are powered by AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS Creator Edition and have NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6 graphics.

Specs Difference between 82SN004UIN and 82SN0059IN

Both these models have almost identical specs. The main difference is in the display specifications. 82SN0059IN has a 16-inch 2.5K resolution screen with G-Sync and 120hz support. 82SN004UIN also has a 16-inch 2.5K resolution screen but doesn’t have a 120hz refresh rate screen or support for G-sync. 82SN0059IN display is Factory Color Calibrated. The official specs of the 82SN004UIN don’t mention Factory Color Calibration features.

Lenovo might launch more Indian models in the future part of the series.

Memory and Storage Specs

Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro 16ARH7 82SN004UIN / 82SN0059IN comes with 16GB Soldered LPDDR5-6400 ram memory and 512GB SSD storage ( M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0×4 NVMe ). It uses soldered memory and has no slots, hence is not upgradeable. In the storage department, this laptop only has a single drive ( up to 512GB M.2 2242 SSD or 1TB M.2 2280 SSD ).

Wireless and Connectivity

There is no WiFi 6E support available on these models. It has WiFi 6 instead ( 11ax 2×2 ) and supports Bluetooth 5.1 to connect accessories. There are 3 USB ports available – 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Always On) and 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (support data transfer, Power Delivery, and DisplayPort). You also get a HDMI 2.0 port, Card reader, and a Headphone/microphone combo jack (3.5mm).

Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 4 Intel India Models and Specs

Lenovo has announced ThinkPad E15 Gen 4 (Intel) models for the Indian market. These are powered by Alder Lake 12th Gen Intel Processors and most of them have integrated Intel UHD Graphics / Intel Iris Xe Graphics.

Some models do come with discrete NVIDIA® GeForce MX550 graphics. Lenovo has listed a few models as part of this 2022 series online. Check them out below.

The base model part of the ThinkPad E15 Gen 4 Intel series is powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1215U processor while the high-end models have Core i7-1260P processor. There are other models listed with Core i5-1235U, Core i7-1255U and Core i5-1240P processors as well.

It has one DDR4 SO-DIMM slot while one memory is soldered to the system board, The max ram memory supported is 40GB ( 8GB soldered + 32GB SO-DIMM ).

Acer has launched Aspire 5 A515-57 NX.K2USI.004 laptop model powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U processor ( 10 cores, 2 P-cores, 8 E-cores ) in India online. For graphics, it uses integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. There are two models currently listed on Acer India website part of the series – one comes in Glacier Blue color ( NX.K2USI.004 ) and the other in Safari Gold.

Acer Aspire 5 A515-57 NX.K2USI.004 features a 14-inch Full HD screen with an IPS panel and has an elevated design. It comes with 8GB ram ( 2x 4GB ) and 512GB of SSD storage ( PCIe Gen4, 16 Gb/s up to 4 lanes, NVMe ). The max ram memory supported is 32 GB ( using two SODIMM modules ).

All these are powered by 12th gen Intel Core i7-12700H 14-core processor. 82TK001NIN model has NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB GDDR6 graphics while 82TK001PIN, 82TK0025IN and 82TK00AFIN have NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6 graphics.
