Lenovo has announced the 2022 ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 7 21CD000RIG laptop model powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i5 processor for the Indian market. It will be launching in India soon, along with other models in this series. These new Alder Lake 12th Gen powered laptops will be available to purchase from Flipkart / Amazon.in in the coming months. Expected price in India is Rs 89,999.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 7 21CD000RIG is powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1240P 12-core processor. It has got 4 Performance-cores ( P-cores ) and 8 Efficient-cores ( E-cores ) supporting 16 threads in total. The P-core on this is clocked at 1.7Ghz and can go up to 4.4Ghz in turbo boost mode. The E-core on this has a base frequency of 1.2Ghz and supports a 3.3Ghz boost clock. For graphics, it uses Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics GPU.
It comes with 8GB of ram and has 1TB SSD storage. The ram on this is not upgradable as it uses an onboard, soldered ram with no slots. In the storage department, it only supports a single drive and comes with M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0×4 Performance NVMe Opal2 SSD.
ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 7 21CD000RIG features a 14 inch, WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution, Low Power IPS screen with a max brightness of 400nits supported. It has 10-point multi-touch support and comes with Lenovo Integrated Pen for stylus input.
Lenovo has powered this laptop with a 57Whr battery and provides a 65W USB-C Slim adapter in the box. It ships with Windows 11 Pro operating system.
Like many other laptops launched in 2022, this model also comes with the new 6Ghz WiFi 6E network support ( Intel AX211 Wi-Fi 6E ). To connect wireless accessories, you get Bluetooth 5.2 onboard.
Lenovo has equipped this model with 2x Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 ports, along with 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. You also get an HDMI 2.0b port as well as a 3.5mm combo mic/headphone jack. Check out the full specs and features below.
Lenovo has also announced a few other models in the ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 7 2022 series. Top-end models are powered by Core i7-1280P ( 20 cores ), Core i7-1270P ( 12 cores ), and Core i7-1260P ( 12 cores ), while low-end models come with Core i5-1250P or Core i5-1240P 12 cores processors.
The top-end Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 7 model comes with 32GB of ram and 2TB SSD storage. There is also a model in this series that has a 14-inch WQUXGA (3840×2400) resolution OLED screen with Dolby Vision and DisplayHDR 400 support.
