Lenovo has announced the 2022 ThinkPad Z13 Gen 1 21D2001KIG laptop model for the Indian market. It is powered by AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processor and has integrated AMD Radeon graphics GPU. As of this writing, there is no launch date info or launch price info available.

Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 Gen 1 21D2001KIG is powered by AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U octa-core processor. This chipset has a base frequency of 2.7Ghz and supports up to 4.7Ghz boost clock speed. It supports up to 16 threads and has 16MB L3 cache. For graphics, the 21D2001KIG model has got Integrated AMD Radeon 680M Graphics GPU.

It comes with 16GB of ram and has 1TB SSD storage. This model uses soldered, LPDDR5-6400 memory and is not upgradable. In the storage department, Lenovo ships this laptop with an M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0×4 NVMe Opal2 SSD drive.

Lenovo has announced 2022 ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 Intel models for the Indian market. These new Thinkpad laptops are powered by Alder Lake 12th Generation Intel Core i3 / i5 / i7 Processor. For graphics, most of these use integrated Intel UHD / Intel Iris Xe GPU. Lenovo also ships some of these with dedicated 2GB GDDR6 NVIDIA GeForce MX550 discrete GPU.

Lenovo ThinkPad E14 21E3S04W00 Specs and Features

This model is powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U processor and has 16GB of ram plus 512GB SSD storage. It has a 14-inch Full HD anti-glare display which is in all likely a TN panel instead of an IPS panel. The specs on Amazon.in doesn’t mention if this has an IPS or TN panel, however, the max brightness this supports is 250nits, which matches with official specs as the IPS panel on this Thinkpad has 300nits and the TN panel has 250nits ( according to the official specs sheet ). Lenovo has equipped this model with a Li-Polymer 45Wh battery, with Rapid Charge support (charge up to 80% in 1hr).

Lenovo ThinkPad E14 21E3S05800 Specs and Features

This model has a more powerful 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1255U processor and comes with 16GB of ram and 1TB of SSD storage. The 14-inch display on this variant supports a max brightness of 300nits and is likely an IPS panel. Like the above model, this too has a 45Whr battery.

Lower end, entry-level ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 2022 models are powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1215U Hexa-core / Core i5-1235U 10-cores / Core i5-1240P 12-core processor. You can also buy these with Core i7-1255U or Core i7-1260P 12-core processor.

2022 Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 Intel India

The max ram memory supported by ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 is 40GB. It has a single DDR4 SO-DIMM slot and uses DDR4-3200 memory. Of the possible 40GB ram, 8GB ram is soldered to the board. In the storage department, these models have Two M.2 slots supporting up to 1TB M.2 2242 SSD storage.

Lenovo has powered 2022 ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 models with an integrated 45Wh battery and supplies 65W USB-C (3-pin) power adapter. NVIDIA GeForce MX550 2GB GDDR6 powered variants ship with a bigger 57Wh battery.

As of this writing, almost all Thinkpad E14 Gen 4 Indian models come with a 14-inch Full HD TN panel instead of an IPS panel which is quite surprising. TN panels generally do not have that good viewing angle when compared to an IPS panel. ( 90° vs 170° ).
